Educational Opportunities

GSASC provides an excellent opportunity to receive first-class education twice a year. Both of these conferences provide nursing contact hours and physician CMEs. This is a great time for ASC professionals to come together and network with each other while learning about changing regulations, how to improve your ASC’s bottom line and hearing about other reimbursement trends - all while seeing the newest technology and services at the tradeshow.

Communication

As the only state-wide organization exclusively representing the ASC industry, GSASC has pertinent information available to all GSASC members through the quarterly newsletter, the web site, frequent email communication and by calling the fulltime GSASC staff at the toll free number.

Regulatory and Legislative Representation

The Society maintains an active presence with a lobbying team at the Capitol in Atlanta. GSASC constantly monitors all actions taken in the legislature and state agencies to ensure the ASC industry voice is recognized in all new regulatory decisions. The Society is a proactive organization and is a leader in the healthcare arena when it comes to policy making.

GSASC is also able to monitor and influence activities in Washington, D.C. and provide a “heads-up” to GSASC members about trends across the country.
